Hinzman is not alone in his flight from serving honorably, at least 7 other deserters hiding out in Canada greated Jeremy's denial in the same man...

Caught this on FoxNews.com, thought some might find this somewhat ironic...if not sick....

"NEW YORK — Paul Volcker's investigating panel on Wednesday said the rationale used by the United Nations to justify paying Benon Sevan's (search) legal fees in the Oil-for-Food probe is "incorrect."

The assessment follows the announcement Tuesday that the United Nations agreed to reimburse Sevan, the suspended head of the U.N. Oil-for-Food program (search) in Iraq, for legal fees he incurred during...

-When will the Ents of Europe awaken?
By now everyone, thanks to the wonders of moviemaking, has been re-introduced to the imaginative world of J.R.R. Tolkien’s (1892-1973) The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Populating his world of Middle Earth richly with humans and elves to hobbits and dwarves which have become the staple of the fantasy genre but it is his use of the Ents which I c...

Hansons site..as I usually do.... when I ran across this story he wrote...as an observation...its fairly good...even it some may disagree with it...I do think he does pose some basic question we sould ask ourselves where this Anti-Americanism began...for it surely didnt start with president Bush's election in 2000 nor did it start with the Iraqi war...and if it didnt start there..then when?and why?
