One Lone Conservative's Reality in a Sea of Liberal Delusion's

Dem. Candidate John Kerry has yet again put his foot in his mouth....this time a few days ago, John Kerry spoke out saying that numerous foreign leaders have quietly approached him that they want him to win the election and gave him silent support....of course he said this on the record..but interestingly enough off camera and mics...go figure.... since when did Kerry's support base include the French, the Germans, N. Korea and Iran?...Let's face it these 4 nations have the most to lose and everything to gain if Kerry wins...the French will get a reduced American military presence (which could only delight those in france that are a tad upset at their country's decline as a colonial power), The Germans(current goverment leadership) would be slightly happy since they have discovered siding with france as it flexed brawn as it were politically was a clusterfuck waiting to happen, N. Korea and its Elvis impersonator leader would be near orgasmic as Kerry shows signs of following the Clinton/Carter playbook...i.e. granting them billions more in aid and possibly some more nuclear tech and equipment as was done under Clintons reign of idiotcy....geez, why not just give them a friggin MX missle while their at it...and of course Iran...Iran who's own leadership is losing so much support that have begun importing other arabs to enforce their growingly un-popular agendas ( the recent unpleasantness in southern Iraqs shiea population had the revolutionary guards fingerprints all over it) would enjoy the business as usual rhetoric that was a hallmark of clintons administraition...basiclly overall if Kerry was president....the US would never deploy its military anywhere unless the UN and France gave the okay and the islamo-fascists around the world could continue to do as they please without the worry of any response by the worlds only superpower....call me crazy but the world has changed and not for the better....terrorists and their benefactors have gone relatively unchecked for 14 years as their attacks on americans have increased....our former european allies (some not all) have grown bold enough to try consistently to be the proverbial pain in the ass when we try and do something that in the end could only help them (france has bout a 20% muslim population, although some stats cite its as high as 40%)......
In the end this is no longer a world where a man of dubious military record and even more dubious loyalties should even be allowed to command the most powerful military on earth.....In a nutshell....IT'S TIME TO COWBOY THE FUCK UP

P.S. is it me or does John Kerry look like Lurch from the old addams family show?

iul89, more countries supported us than opposed us on the Iraqi war. That's a fact. Just because France, Germany, and Russia were against us doesn't mean that the whole world is against us.

He draft dodged in the same way Clinton did. He took a route that assured him he would never serve in conflicts.

Cheers

Source? And what criteria are you using to define "support" and "oppose"? Certainly "coalition" countries do not make up a majority of the world's countries.

The actual quote, in case anyone cares, is:

"I've been hearing it, I'll tell ya. The news, the coverage in other countries, the news in other places. I've met more leaders who can't go out and say it all publicly but, boy, they look at you and say, `You gotta win this, you gotta beat this guy, we need a new policy' -- things like that. So there is enormous energy out there. Tell them, wherever they can find an American abroad, they can contribute."

He was originally misquoted, and that's what started this whole controversy.

He was responding to a comment of someone else about all the anomosity towards Bush going around in other countries. I don't find anything offensive to U.S. voters about what Kerry said. The real issue is here is that Bush's policies have caused a lot of peoplie in the world to feel anomosity to the United States. I have felt this, as I've traveled internationally quite a bit in the last two years. It's a real, serious problem, and it IS something that U.S. voters should consider when choosing their next President.

Well a few 'prominent' foreign leaders have decided to openly come out in favor of John Kerry, most notably among them are Spains new PM, NK's Kim Jong-IL who by the way is running Kerry TV ads on NK state run tv, Castro, and the cleric led goverment of Iran....damm thats some serious support...if only Hitler or Stalin or even Mao were alive it would be a clean sweep of Universal jackasses

I still find it so funny that American's care what other leaders think of their candidates. They shouldn't!!! Leaders get replaced on a regular basis and their opinions on American politics should not matter. Their opinions on American policies are different, but such opinions will exist regardless of who the American president is.
