One Lone Conservative's Reality in a Sea of Liberal Delusion's

Dem. Candidate John Kerry has yet again put his foot in his mouth....this time a few days ago, John Kerry spoke out saying that numerous foreign leaders have quietly approached him that they want him to win the election and gave him silent support....of course he said this on the record..but interestingly enough off camera and mics...go figure.... since when did Kerry's support base include the French, the Germans, N. Korea and Iran?...Let's face it these 4 nations have the most to lose and everything to gain if Kerry wins...the French will get a reduced American military presence (which could only delight those in france that are a tad upset at their country's decline as a colonial power), The Germans(current goverment leadership) would be slightly happy since they have discovered siding with france as it flexed brawn as it were politically was a clusterfuck waiting to happen, N. Korea and its Elvis impersonator leader would be near orgasmic as Kerry shows signs of following the Clinton/Carter playbook...i.e. granting them billions more in aid and possibly some more nuclear tech and equipment as was done under Clintons reign of idiotcy....geez, why not just give them a friggin MX missle while their at it...and of course Iran...Iran who's own leadership is losing so much support that have begun importing other arabs to enforce their growingly un-popular agendas ( the recent unpleasantness in southern Iraqs shiea population had the revolutionary guards fingerprints all over it) would enjoy the business as usual rhetoric that was a hallmark of clintons administraition...basiclly overall if Kerry was president....the US would never deploy its military anywhere unless the UN and France gave the okay and the islamo-fascists around the world could continue to do as they please without the worry of any response by the worlds only superpower....call me crazy but the world has changed and not for the better....terrorists and their benefactors have gone relatively unchecked for 14 years as their attacks on americans have increased....our former european allies (some not all) have grown bold enough to try consistently to be the proverbial pain in the ass when we try and do something that in the end could only help them (france has bout a 20% muslim population, although some stats cite its as high as 40%)......
In the end this is no longer a world where a man of dubious military record and even more dubious loyalties should even be allowed to command the most powerful military on earth.....In a nutshell....IT'S TIME TO COWBOY THE FUCK UP

P.S. is it me or does John Kerry look like Lurch from the old addams family show?

I have to laugh when I read articles on American electino politics.

Firstly, I would have said that John Kerry should never have mentioned foreign leaders at all. Who cares. American elections are for Americans. What the rest of the world thinks about the various candidates is immaterial. The US needs to choose a president they are happy with. Once a leader is elected then the rest of the world can figure out how to deal with them.

Secondly, the comment "In the end this is no longer a world where a man of dubious military record and even more dubious loyalties should even be allowed to command the most powerful military on earth" could equally be applied to either candidate.

PS. France has 5% Muslim population

"France has 5% Muslim population"

Hmm? Got a link? The stats I have heard over and over put it way higher than that. Even the French don't seem to be happy about the level of diversity lately.

Did anyone notice how both of these candidates are pretty wealthy, are shaky on their views, and are somehow 16th cousins. They also went to the same university around the same time. Kerry of course went to Vietnam as where Bush dodged the draft with his influence. Either way these guys seem poised to make different mistakes, key word mistakes, it will be interesting to see how this develops. Bush is far from a great president but is Kerry really the answer I think we all need to wake up and find a way better path to take. Is war the best way to resolve conflict or is foreign policy with sovereign states that have different interests that no longer revolve around what the U.S. has to say.. Extremism is not the answer whether it leans toward the religious or terrorist or in essence any side... Anyone that thinks the censorship of and extreme regulation of the American media and the regulation of what we choose to say, do, watch and go is just someone who is being swayed by popular beliefs and the media frenzy from which it spawns. I write this feeling a little melancholy because it's obvious most people don't think on their own but walk in the same direction as everyone else. The important question is where will the U.S. be in 20 years? The scary thing is I could see bush being the chief in Fahrenheit 451 before Kerry. What if Bush is reelected and the F.C.C decides that some of the content on the internet is indecent what then even though it sounds far fetched its not impossible just consider this before pointing your hatred in a useless way...

Which time? They didn't do it for the Germans, but they did do it for the Americans.

Anyhoo, it's time all the draft dodgers were swept from their arsenals and Bush sent back to Crawford and his henchmen back into their warfaring think tanks. I'd rather trust a leader with combat experience, giving him common sense when it comes to drawing up a defense budget. I think the world would look upon us with respect rather than fear if a Carter was UN ambassador, and Clark the secretary of defense.

The French government does not keep statistics as to religion making any exact figure hard to ascertain.

The 2003 CIA World Factbook lists the religion of France as: Roman Catholic 83-88%, Protestant 2%, Jewish 1%, Muslim (including non-resident and illegal North African workers) 5-10%, unaffiliated 4%.

The most accurate information however comes from a March 2003 CSA poll examining religion in France, which gave figures of 62% Roman Catholic, 6% Muslim, 2% Protestant, 1% Jewish, 2% "other religions", 26% "no religion" and 1% no answer.

You see the point is this President is trying to shape the world and the U.S. according to what he specifically thinks is right and in doing so he is violating a lot of our amendments he does things to get what he wants with no regard to the outcry that comes after.

The FBI wants access to the internet and the F.C.C is being backed by bush

"Because the eavesdropping scheme has the support of the Bush administration, the FCC is expected to take it very seriously. Last month, FCC Chairman Michael Powell stressed that "law enforcement access to IP-enabled communications is essential" and police must have "access to communications infrastructure they need to protect our nation."

I'm so tired of Bush's reign of idiotcy as couchman said about Clinton. The reason the world supports Kerry is because they hate Bush. Doesn't it mean anything to you that just about every world leader on Earth secretly hates Bush. Even Blair probably hates him. He is a disgrace to our country. The whole world is laughing at us. Those world leaders listen to Bush and think... "oh those americans they voted for idiot." So I stand by my desiscion to call George W. Bush "Our Worst President Yet."

psychx, Bush did not draft dodge. He joined the National Guard, trained on jet fighters, and then was denied a tour of duty in Vietnam for the Air Force because the equipment he had worked on was obsolete.
