i don't think that rule still applies these days... nowadays after the 'war' is over, we stick around for a few years to regulate peace. it may not be 'war' anymore, but our soldiers are still getting killed. Gone are the days of WW1 and WW2 where we went in, accomplished the mission, and then for the most part withdrew...

true..but after all the BS i hear bout how unhumane war is and possible side effects from one weapon system or another on the soldiers...it does have some meaning...i.e. dupleted uranium munitions....(tank buster rounds)...let me know what ya think...p.s. as for the wellbeing of the troops I'm all for that..but common sense must surface at times
