...Who wants who to win? Part II
This is the second part of my article.........lets continue with those for Kerry shall we and my colorful biased memo's
Germany: In a statement by Gert Weisskirchen, foreign policy expert for the ruling Social Democratic Party, "...I cannot imagine that there will be any change in our decision not to send troops, whoever becomes president. That said, Mr. Kerry seems genuinely commited to multilateralism and as president he would find it easier than Mr. Bush (note he failed to say President Bush) to secure the German goverment's backing in other matters".
Plus, it makes appeasement and underhanded dealings with a rouge nation kinda like France far more easy than the current US goverment's hard line stance allows....Helmut Khol...where for art thou?
Vietnam: An unnamed Vietnamese diplomat told members of the international press, "I think Vietnam would support Kerry because he has traveled many times to Vietnam and understands better the situation here than Bush, who is a war-mongering president." Why not? Kerry has already 30 years of experience negotiating with Vietnamese communists and gave aid and comfort to them during the war...hell he even is immortalized in Ho Chi Minh City's War Remnants Museum...his picture resides near another hero of the wonderfully "bloodless" revolution, Jane Fonda....well at least fonda made a half-hearted appology to vetrans of that war....Kerry, well its on his too do list.....
Others: While no official endorsement from these goverments or anyone in them has yet to materialize, its a given that their populations tend to lean in Kerry's stable....Morocco, Jordan, and Pakistan...for now lets leave them as undecideds...lol
George W. Bush
Russia: recently, President Putin informed Russia's RIA news agency, "Iraqi terrorism aims at causing maximum damage to President Bush and to forestall his second term re-election..." he added, "If they succeed, they would celebrate a victory against America and their anti-terror coalition, and this could lead to a sizeable increase in acts of international terrorism." Although Putin has pledged to repect the choice of the American electorate, his comments have been seen as a muted endorsement of President Bush....might be that the Beslan tragedy kicked the ex-kgb agent in the head to wipe away some cobwebs.....although with the recent revelation regarding the possibility of russian special forces and GRU (military intelligence) intelligence teams aiding the former Iraqi regime in a coverup of the dual ties....dont know if its a plus or a minus.....if its a plus...we may find out what exactly Iraq did have and when did they have it....who knows.....
Israel: Although Arafat and his cronies favor Kerry (theres a shock) the Israelis favor President Bush in their polls. Major-General Aharon Ze'evi (Chief of Israeli Intelligence) spoke about the very real concern that Arafat, "is now waiting for the month of november in the hope President Bush will be defeated in the presidential election and turned out of office." Israelis seem to agree on Bush and the Arafat theory by bout 70%...still High support among Israeli-Jews doesnt equate essentially to high support among American Jews...as they continue to follow the rose colored glasses of the Democratic party....although it may change.......
Japan: Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi divulged his support for the president bout 2 weeks ago. "I dont want to interfere in another countrys election," he said adding, "but I am close to President Bush so I want him to do well." The Secretary-General of Japans Liberal Democratic Party, Tstutomu Takebe even went so far as to make many in Japans feeling known, "I think there would be real trouble if it's not President Bush" refering specificlly to the different plans for dealing with North Korea's constant sabre rattling, where Bush (accused by the left of a go it alone attitude) has taken the lead in multi-lateral talks between Russia,China, North korea, Japan and South Korea to deal with the situation and Kerrys Bi-lateral talks "which is exactly what North Korea wants..plain and simple". As a prime example of Post war Marshall plan and reconstruction...Guess Japan might be on to something....ya think?
The Philippines: According to Alex Magno, advisor to President gloria Arroyo and a Political Science Professor, "Filipinos...have a frontline appreciation of the threat posed by international terrorism." Why..simple...in the last 2 decades alone, several hundred Filipinos and many Americans have been killed at the bloody hands of al-qaida's resident franchises in the country, Abu Sayyaf and Jamaaat Islamiya. Polls show somewhere around a 60% pro-Bush feelig there....Magno further added that if Filipinos could vote..."Bush would have this election in the bag" Intresting thought...but I'd kindly decline for the simple reason that only US citizens should vote...albeit to the dismay of the world left...sorry guys dont call us, we'll call you....
South Korea: Even amid the growing anti-American feelings in this nation, the South Koreans (probably the toughest bastards ever to fight along side Americans) are showing themselves somewhat evenly split with only a slight percentage point or two on Bush's side...mostly because the anti-communists segments favor Bush's policies on the North. Frankly I'd rather have a company of South Koreans on my side than the ineffectual French or the pacifist Germans...its that simple...
The pretty much covers state endorsements or public feelings except for a few other non-state players in this election....
al-Jazeera: What is there to say bout this group of wanna be reporters....where the liberal media of the world stops...al-Jazeera seems to pick up and run with it....Refering to terrorists as "Martyrs" and its own links to Terrorism and Saddam himself (some of the editors and producers seemed to have financial links with the former regime) these scum sucking bastards refer to Kerry as "a popular mainstream Democrat with extremely liberal tendencies" and further noted "he has suggested that Bush's handling of the Iraqi war is fucked up." laughingly they refer to their candidate of choice as follows, "Kerry is well placed politically between his party's radical left and arch conservatives." Well to paraphrase President Bush, al-Jazeera sees Ted Kennedy as the arch conservative democrat from Massachusetts and Kerry to Teddy boys left..politically....intresting but then, al-Jazeera did receive a Democratic Party skybox during the DNC convention...go figure.
Communist Party USA: Though not a foreign party, it did receive Soviet money illegally for decades and has decided to cast their lot with Kerry. Their election priority number one is that Communist do their "utmost part to help defeat president Bush" Their website contains pages of anti-Bush propoganda some times just to the left (pardon the pun) of reality. Well it is certainly nice to see old relics of the cold war looking for a new purpose...but then if for some reason these leftovers looking for a new "Workers Paradise" ever did obtain the highest office in the land...look for Goverment take over of many of the companies we have come to love and hate....by the way the communist party usa is the origonator of the Workers World Party...which created International Answer, which helped create MoveOn.org...funny...isnt it.
Conclusions
In all, it appears those nations most opposed to the War on Terrorism – including the remaining two members of the Axis of Evil – endorse the foreign policies of the Left, which they see embodied in the person of John Kerry. On the other hand, those nations historically friendly to the United States back President George W. Bush. It is significant that those nations under the greatest terrorist threat – Russia, the Philippines, Israel and (if one counts nuclear threats from North Korea) Japan – all favor the aggressive policy of taking the war to the terrorists pursued by the Bush administration. If we do not wish to share their peril, we would do well to heed their advice to reject the discredited, defeatist foreign policies of the Left.
But what do I know..I'm just considered a white trash, red neck, illiterate, gun toting, war mongering member of the GOP....
